Timesheet Project
.
Summary A "discover SQL Server 2005" project.

The TimesheetProject is a sample application I'm going to create in order to learn about the SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio 2005 betas. It's unrelated to my work and there shouldn't be any IPR issues.

Expectations

The TimesheetProject aims to store and track the hours spent on project work by employees. The following statements capture some of the business model.

Project work includes all activities performed for clients.

Activities define the type of task being performed, for example documentation, coding, testing etc.

Some projects/tasks are billable.

Projects are hierarchical in nature splitting into levels of sub-projects with individual tasks at the lowest level.

Teams are made up from users; users are members of zero or more teams.

Timesheets created by users must be reviewed and accepted by their manager.
