« Installing the SQL Server September CTP | Main | Exony Birthdays »

I am currently trying to get my head around Javascript, AJAX and Internet Explorer but until something useful comes of it here are some links that caught my eye this week:

Actually, Tom knows all about the finer points of Javascript so hopefully some useful entries from him will point the way.

Also, it's my birthday next week and just in case anyone reading from my family doesn't know what to get me then a white iPod nano would be very much appreciated. If that is beyond your budget then some DVD's I haven't got are:

[Edit: Added Donnie Darko for Laura.]

[Edit: I now have Star Wars and have seen Hitchhikers and Batman so won't need them.]

Thanks for the publicity Jim! Not too concerned about a feed icon yet as I am having a little difficulty with my hosting company (who isn't?! Useless monkeys!) So I am concentrating my efforts on setting up a Web Server at home and somehow configuring access through this dirty-great-big firewall I have!

Regarding AJAX, Ruby has a built in library and it is SO easy to use (which is worth mentioning as there will soon be a Ruby.NET unvieled!)! There is also a free .net library which makes it just as easy for us Microsoft Monkeys.

I'll post the links on my site when I have time!

If you used FireFox then you wouldnt need to search for a RSS feed icon!

BTW I have the first 3 DVDs you want as Divx avi.
